High-contrast mode strengthens the parts of Recollect that can be hard to see — control borders, muted text, status colors, and the keyboard focus outline — to make the interface easier to read. It’s off by default and works alongside whichever theme you use.
Turning on high contrast
Click the gear icon and select Settings, then open the Appearance tab. In the Theme section, turn on High contrast.
High contrast is separate from the Light and Dark themes — it layers on top of the one you already use. Choose Light, Dark, or System as usual, then switch High contrast on to apply it to that theme.
Applying it to all your devices
By default, high contrast applies only to the device where you turn it on. To use the same setting everywhere you’re signed in, turn on Apply to all devices. Leave it off to keep high contrast on the current device only.
